Yes, it's been way more than the 'few days' I originally quoted. Sorry about that everyone. The update is coming soon. Part of the reason for the hold up is that instead of just adding a couple of new enemies I've decided to add them *all*, along with all their special abilities.
Aiming for mid next week now. Please don't kill me.

Thank you Admin, I greatly appreciate you informing us about this. I am excited for the new bosses, in fact when the wraith comes out, me and my buddy are going to go beast mode on it, and make a video. (To everyone who bitched at Admin, I think NOW you you realize that when you yell at him, he won't be so kind and tell us about what's going on. But when we (Me mostly) thank him for what he's done, and don't flame him, he posts. Oh and so everyone knows (Admin included or not) I have spent about $600 dollars on Dead Frontier, and I have 6 monthly GM's. Hope it helps Admin! (Also, I've only played for about a year and a half)

I got pretty psyched when I checked the blog for the 100th time to finally find an update of THIS MAGNITUDE. I am anticipating my lvl31 lawyer running back to Doggs in fear of all the pwn in FP. Has anyone started work on cloning Niel's? We'd have the full version by May if we had 20 of them. Also, they can answer his door so the impatient 16 year old's will shoot them instead of the real Niel. I don't see how no ones done this for the dude yet.

ReplyDeleteI thought tendrils where hard enough (with a machete and quick fingers it a challenge) but if they get special abilities now this ain't good.
Special abilities or not I am ready. Would be interesting to see what their special abilities are tho. Maybe u hit one and multiplies it self, or kill a big boss and little guys spawn from it,or something bigger than a titan,oh man I cant wait...Is it mid week already??

ReplyDeleteThat is what a Tendril can do all the time, a Special ability would be something a Tendril DOESN'T do all the time and makes you go "Oh crap I'm dead."
Read the wiki and stop wondering what their special abilities are. For bloat, it's spitting GASTRIC ACID and etc.
ReplyDeleteThe lack of missions is glaring since as of right now the overall game seems pretty wash, rinse, repeat. I hope that gets addressed sooner than later, since from what I've seen in the forums I'm not the only one hesitant to upgrade to gold as things stand.

ReplyDeleteI'm going to guess that only the Spider, wraith, and Titan will be considered bosses. All the other tiny ones will be as common as tendrils and bones are now.

ReplyDeleteThe tendrils and bones could be considered Mini-bosses, since they (In a way) take the place of the Red and Long-armed Red.
