lol this proofs it, the economy of these game is falling. with more people looting higher level weapons the prices of them will drop a lot. and this will be a pattern, once level 110 weps get so low in price admin will release 130 level and so on. but i do like the ability of being able to loot an m60 without being gm :).
yeah.. its pretty cool to be able to loot level 100, but i think maybe admin should've waited until the economy was a bit more stable. still, pretty cool
yes . Meaning , i can loot good stuff ... most lvl 100 weps are very cheap now but they still earn a huge amount ( i've never looted a object worth 190k .... everything JOINED in 1 trip earned 200k+ ).

1.)Interior Missions ( loot a hard disk from a comp )
2.)More Bosses ( flaming irradiated and flaming long-arms ( only in FP ) )
3.)Only peeps who have done SOME dmg to the boss can loot it , otherwise they receive a message saying " you did not contribute to killing the [ boss ] so you cannot loot it " ... when they try to loot the boss ... the message because they wont realize that they have to stop becoming AFK-Hogs ... and they'll blame the game ( because they think its some glitch that they cant loot ) . System Overhaul is needed for this ( lag will mean some dmg MAY NOT be counted )
5.)2d Mission system : I like 2d mission board ( notice board ) and the ability to choose 3 missions at a time ... and they had NO TIME LIMIT .
6.)New Area's : Graveyard ( always foggy or sometimes rainy ) - ( dont know any other GOOD ONES )
7.)2 Arena's : One for PvP and one for zombie-challenges ( i'll explain ) where you kill zeds
8.)Zombie-Challenge Arena : Challenges e.g : Kill 3 wraiths in one go with only melee ( i can do that XD ) Because if they use a pen knife to kill a wraith .. thats a challenge ! This'll make peeps more skilled in battling bosses !
9.)Private Party System / a.k.a 2D-DF-MP System (i.e 2d DF Multiplayer ; Only 6 peeps allowed ) Cause looters are tired of grinders ruining their loot runs ... and causing aggro
10.)Types of missions ... the commander/leader gives diff types of missions
( you can choose ... 2 main categories
1.) Interiors and 2.) Exteriors
then Interiors : 1.Find lost item or 2.barricade or 3.loot something
Exteriors : 1.Kill boss zeds or 2.kill many normal zeds ( cull ) or 3.Loot blood samples or 4.TEST A NEW WEP ON ZEDS XD

This game has gone to shit ever since the corpse weapons came out. I appreciate all the work it takes to make a game like this, but im sorry Neil with the new weapons the games economy is becoming a joke.
All the noobs dont even have to work hard for the higher caliber weapons, and it puts all the high lvl players who put time and commitment into this game to shame. For example about 6 months ago a USAN use to sell for anywhere between 900k to 1.2M. NOW it sells for 180K are you FUCKING KIDDING ME!!

Im not saying i dont like this game because i do its original its one of the only zombie mmo's out there that is awesome. The only other game that can beat this game that just came out a little while ago is WARZ.
I have been here since this game first came out and i have to say that the original 2D version was the best ever not that i dont like the 3D graphics because i think you did a great job Neil but ever since those corpse weps came out the shit has hit the fan.
Anyways keep up the good work Neil but please find a way to restore the games economy and make weapon values go back up. You need to make the credit shop exclusive to anything thats in the credit shop cannot be looted but still be sold in the market place and that in itself will make weapon values rise.
For instance the reason why the GAU is so infamous is not just because of the damage power, but also because of the fact that it cannot be looted.
If there are weapons that can only be bought in credit shop but not looted in the city and can still be sold in the market place will make it sought after therefore making it valuable. That is really one of the best ways to start restoring market place to its former glory.
Last thing the new weapons that just came out have some really messed up stats besides the hammerhead, and yes i know im going to get hate comment from those that already own it, but the M4 probably should not have been made because look at the comparison of the new weapons.

on another news, admin made the enforcer (dusk pistol) stronger than the corpse shooter and 457 magnum and new weapons. now all he has to do is boost all other dusk weapons.

I mean just think about it,Katana used to be 100k and nodachi used to be 1000000(million)and the m60's were atleast 800k Now,with the non-GM's looting 500k stuffs,they're gonna ruin the economy... I've been playing since may 2012(noob,I know)and got GM on the 3rd day of haloween madness... I sold 100 credits,and spent 100 creds on sumthin else... Now,I have 1.2 million and can afford an aa-12 or a rex. the way to prevent more market crush is to set a scrap price very high, people don't need to sell it too cheap in market, they just scarp it n lost minimum cash example AA-12 4m vulcan 5m. hammerhead 5m and much more scrap price so people wont sell less than that & new people can't buy it cheap from market, no more cheap price on market mean people will start to buy more at credit shop or higher price on the market. a great benefit to player and developer. it also will reduce overwhelming quantity gear n weapon in the market n save the DF economy and maybe save the DF future

on another note people can not make profit if the scrap is 100k because of mcing. because that would make an easy 85k profit, that wont happen because the market is going see this and only sell the 100k scrap weapons at 185k so if you spend another 15k o n mcing you wont make any money, sure there will be some idiots who will put it below the valley of equilibrium but what ever.
another thing is maybe make the MC price higher for higher level weapons, lets say 15k scrap non mc gets master crafted at a cost of 15k so it will cost 30k after wards making no profit, so if there was a 50k scrap weapon without mc then the mc price should be 50k so what you put in is what you can take out.
if you have a sense of economy then this should make sense and require no more explanation.
yes yes i get what you're saying luis. but still, prices will fluctuate. sometimes two people selling the same item will cut their prices repeatedly and it will go back and forth. eventually it may get low enough for people to make a profit on mcing. it's not too common, but it is a possibility. and i dont think i need to tell you that sometimes people dont bother looking at the scrap price and sell something for lower than scrap (or just slightly higher) people who sell steroids for less than 1605 for example.

So Admin must release new , better weps for the lower lvl peeps .
Like there are only 2 shotguns for 16g ... and the 'best' shotgun can hold only 4 pellets . And the weakest holds only 2 !
Admin needs to make more ( thats why 16g is cheaper than 20g even though i loot more 20g than 16g ) . And more guns requiring .38 ammo ( just gramm m11 and webster 1940 ) .

titanus i doubt that increasing scrap price is the ONLY way to solve it. im not sure its really the right way to go. i still think that looting should be balanced to decrease the amount of high level gear being found(not too much, just a bit) and also decrease the amount of 80 level food/meds being found(steroids is like 2/3 of what nero-2 costs, which makes no sense)

the economy is based on a " come and go" system as in weapons stay costly if people buy them, but if there is no one to buy them because no one is joining than the price can basically be $0 which is the value,
making the scrap price higher will not help without some things being covered from us. such as, if you sell a sweeper at 100k because the scrap is 100k then why not scrap it? what we want is more flow in the market and less scrapping, increaseing scrap would make scrapping a lot more common.
what titanus was trying to say was that making more people scrap weapons would make less of that weapon on the market, making its price increase because of a lower supply. but its price would take time to increase, and who would sell it on the market if they can make nearly the same amount much easier by scrapping. so yeah, there are several things that make the scrapping not work. on paper it seemed to fix the problem, but not when put into play

Shadow is completely stupid about the dusk, only two ways to win. So what's he going to do only boost the TPS winners dusk?
Be realistic... TPS gets carried the same way TPK gets carried, they group groot, raise aggro letting only one player kill, they point out bosses and high aggro zones. It's the same boosting just on a different scale.

there IS cheating done in BOTH ... i talked about only TPK because the most cheating is done there .
But here is the short list of the cheating done in
1.TPK ( Top Player Killer , PvP )
-> Collect friends , let them 'soften' other peeps and kill them
-> Friends on crit , keep on killing them
-> Lag ... meaning you can take more dmg ( like for me , when i got hit by a corpse grinder by LegoFlust .. i went to serious to HEALTHY to serious to crit to dead XD )
While for TS its just taking adv of stuff ( like if you cause aggro inside a building , there is ENDLESS aggro ) or THE MOST IMPORTANT ( making a boss spawn in MP , going SP , killing the boss , going MP - the boss respawns ) .
Which technically isn't 'hacking' or cheating or something like the above for TPK . This is just taking adv of the game ( DeadExposureDF made a vid for the 2nd point for TS ) .
But that is the cheating done for TS and TPK .
Oh , i dont know much about the cheating gone on for TS and TPK ( like 10+ points ) but if you want - ask DeadFrontierZn2012 .
He's a coder ( not exactly ... he knows coding but his job is something else :/ ) and he definitely knows much more about the cheating going on ( he left DF for some time because one guy made himself invincible ... like the guy in my vid .... Ok i have left Xaeleth Shadow Sentinel , and switched back AGAIN to SHJ ... he now has a criss victor ( which fell from 750k to just 142k and its MC'ed too ! ) and a wakizashi . Btw the wakizashi has only 1 animation ... just moving the arm up and hitting down :)
Not that i mind . But the wakizashi is AWESOME . Killing zeds very quickly ( it does like 92 dmg per sec )... its really awesome . The only problem is ... it does not do a 1-hit kill for a siren , but due to the fact that its a knife , i can hit again .

Im looking through a tutorial of Unity 3D by the TornadoeTwins ... but it requires coding knowledge ( all i know is how to use arrows keys to move a circle here and there XD And i made 2 circles move ( 1 used arrow keys and 1 used WASD keys ... i felt like a genius XD ) ) .

@ admin, can u increase the loot rate of the bio reactive, its the only thing very op right now,even the ironsight and greyhawk have gone down, but that bio isnt popping up on the market for a reasonable price
wait a year and then you'll find one but when you do you'll be complaining of the price being so low because you already have 2 and the market price for it is just double scrap. trust me i am experienced.
Use a decently price XT. Unless your PvPing(In which case you'll have to use expensive drugs anyways) the bio has the same absorption as the XT, which makes it quite unneeded. Not to mention it's higher service lvl requirement.

im pretty sure with all the ideas you come up with you can come up with a very tough zed, you know how a bloat explodes and is a disatvatage to sole melee people, well i was thinking of a zed thats a disadvantage to gunners, which some people might argue is the siren

@Hector Martinez : The average hp of zombies in EZ is quite high , but the strongest non-boss zombie there is Leaper/Brute which has 400 hp ... and the long-arm will have like 3000 hp ( since it is stronger than a regular flamer ) .
Btw Admin : All the new weps your releasing are catering to the high-level players . Why not for lower leveled ones to ?
Like there are only THREE guns using .38 ammo , make more guns using that ammo ( like another SMG ... having 25 ammo capacity and uses .38 , like a improved version of the Gramm M11 ) .
The 16g shotguns have such a puny ammo capacity .... 2 and 4 . Make a gun with like 5 or 6 .

ok its really weird that the 7.5 is for $16.7 per bullet and the much rarer 14mm rifle ( Hammerhead ) is just $10.7 per bullet ! Its very cheap .... 3.5k for 600 bullets !?!?

Thats Reason #1 why i want those new armours ( Steelcase Reactive ) and Reason #2 why i want a very powerful rifle which fires quickly to and Reason #3 why i dont like HMG's .... i burned up the ammo from 900 to just a puny 300 , just from battling a mob -.-
So i like rifles the MOST ( along with shotties ) and grenades and HMG's the least ^_^
i find it strange that the very rare N-8B is priced exactly the same as the N-2 ( $1900 ) .
And that the 14mm is cheaper than the 7.5 ...
the 7.5 costs like $16.7 per bullet while the 14mm costs $10.7 per bullet ....
But it helps ... the lvl 45 armour went from nearly 2k to just $900 ... the administering of lvl 45 meds went from nearly 1800 to just $695 ( just now , now it might be more ) .
And all 100-prof weps are very cheap ... even the rex fell
Admin, it seems you don't even update DF anymore, you hardly do anything, and aren't even there. I admit, at one point you was "supportive", but now you just let the game go to crap, after awhile DF will die, and when that happens, you'll know why. If you ever try to make another game, keep it updated, support the community, and put in more work, although it is "your" game, you treat the people who play it, like crap, and you act as if you don't care about DF.

ReplyDeletelol this proofs it, the economy of these game is falling. with more people looting higher level weapons the prices of them will drop a lot. and this will be a pattern, once level 110 weps get so low in price admin will release 130 level and so on. but i do like the ability of being able to loot an m60 without being gm :).

7.)2 Arena's : One for PvP and one for zombie-challenges ( i'll explain ) where you kill zeds

e.g : Kill 3 wraiths in one go with only melee ( i can do that XD )
Because if they use a pen knife to kill a wraith .. thats a challenge ! This'll make peeps more skilled in battling bosses !
9.)Private Party System / a.k.a 2D-DF-MP System (i.e 2d DF Multiplayer ; Only 6 peeps allowed ) Cause looters are tired of grinders ruining their loot runs ... and causing aggro
10.)Types of missions ... the commander/leader gives diff types of missions
( you can choose ... 2 main categories
1.) Interiors and 2.) Exteriors
then Interiors : 1.Find lost item or 2.barricade or 3.loot something
Exteriors : 1.Kill boss zeds or 2.kill many normal zeds ( cull ) or 3.Loot blood samples or 4.TEST A NEW WEP ON ZEDS XD

ReplyDeleteThis game has gone to shit ever since the corpse weapons came out. I appreciate all the work it takes to make a game like this, but im sorry Neil with the new weapons the games economy is becoming a joke.
All the noobs dont even have to work hard for the higher caliber weapons, and it puts all the high lvl players who put time and commitment into this game to shame. For example about 6 months ago a USAN use to sell for anywhere between 900k to 1.2M. NOW it sells for 180K are you FUCKING KIDDING ME!!

Im not saying i dont like this game because i do its original its one of the only zombie mmo's out there that is awesome. The only other game that can beat this game that just came out a little while ago is
WARZ.
I have been here since this game first came out and i have to say that the original 2D version was the best ever not that i dont like the 3D graphics because i think you did a great job Neil but ever since those corpse weps came out the shit has hit the fan.
Anyways keep up the good work Neil but please find a way to restore the games economy and make weapon values go back up. You need to make the credit shop exclusive to anything thats in the credit shop cannot be looted but still be sold in the market place and that in itself will make weapon values rise.
For instance the reason why the GAU is so infamous is not just because of the damage power, but also because of the fact that it cannot be looted.
If there are weapons that can only be bought in credit shop but not looted in the city and can still be sold in the market place will make it sought after therefore making it valuable. That is really one of the best ways to start restoring market place to its former glory.
Last thing the new weapons that just came out have some really messed up stats besides the hammerhead, and yes i know im going to get hate comment from those that already own it, but the M4 probably should not have been made because look at the comparison of the new weapons.

ReplyDeletethe way to prevent more market crush is to set a scrap price very high, people don't need to sell it too cheap in market, they just scarp it n lost minimum cash example AA-12 4m vulcan 5m. hammerhead 5m and much more scrap price so people wont sell less than that & new people can't buy it cheap from market, no more cheap price on market mean people will start to buy more at credit shop or higher price on the market. a great benefit to player and developer. it also will reduce overwhelming quantity gear n weapon in the market n save the DF economy and maybe save the DF future

I'm glad Neil raised the stats of many of the Dusk weapons. I hope he ups the rest too. Not that I have any of them but damn people had to work their tails off to get Dusk stuff. people can not make profit if the scrap is 100k because of mcing. because that would make an easy 85k profit, that wont happen because the market is going see this and only sell the 100k scrap weapons at 185k so if you spend another 15k o n mcing you wont make any money, sure there will be some idiots who will put it below the valley of equilibrium but what ever.
another thing is maybe make the MC price higher for higher level weapons, lets say 15k scrap non mc gets master crafted at a cost of 15k so it will cost 30k after wards making no profit, so if there was a 50k scrap weapon without mc then the mc price should be 50k so what you put in is what you can take out.
if you have a sense of economy then this should make sense and require no more explanation.
yes yes i get what you're saying luis. but still, prices will fluctuate. sometimes two people selling the same item will cut their prices repeatedly and it will go back and forth. eventually it may get low enough for people to make a profit on mcing. it's not too common, but it is a possibility. and i dont think i need to tell you that sometimes people dont bother looking at the scrap price and sell something for lower than scrap (or just slightly higher) people who sell steroids for less than 1605 for example.

titanus i doubt that increasing scrap price is the ONLY way to solve it. im not sure its really the right way to go. i still think that looting should be balanced to decrease the amount of high level gear being found(not too much, just a bit) and also decrease the amount of 80 level food/meds being found(steroids is like 2/3 of what nero-2 costs, which makes no sense)

the economy is based on a " come and go" system as in weapons stay costly if people buy them, but if there is no one to buy them because no one is joining than the price can basically be $0 which is the value,
making the scrap price higher will not help without some things being covered from us. such as, if you sell a sweeper at 100k because the scrap is 100k then why not scrap it? what we want is more flow in the market and less scrapping, increaseing scrap would make scrapping a lot more common.
what titanus was trying to say was that making more people scrap weapons would make less of that weapon on the market, making its price increase because of a lower supply. but its price would take time to increase, and who would sell it on the market if they can make nearly the same amount much easier by scrapping. so yeah, there are several things that make the scrapping not work. on paper it seemed to fix the problem, but not when put into play

DeleteBe realistic... TPS gets carried the same way TPK gets carried, they group groot, raise aggro letting only one player kill, they point out bosses and high aggro zones. It's the same boosting just on a different scale.
If any changes occur to dusk, it should be made one big winner over the course of a month, because no matter how friendly/oriented toward winning a group is, no one wants to carry anyone for an entire month. It'd be about skill then, instead of how many people can I lie to, to support me so there you go, that's a change.

there IS cheating done in BOTH ... i talked about only TPK because the most cheating is done there .
But here is the short list of the cheating done in
1.TPK ( Top Player Killer , PvP )
-> Collect friends , let them 'soften' other peeps and kill them
-> Friends on crit , keep on killing them
-> Lag ... meaning you can take more dmg ( like for me , when i got hit by a corpse grinder by LegoFlust .. i went to serious to HEALTHY to serious to crit to dead XD )
While for TS its just taking adv of stuff
( like if you cause aggro inside a building , there is ENDLESS aggro ) or THE MOST IMPORTANT
( making a boss spawn in MP , going SP , killing the boss , going MP - the boss respawns ) .
Which technically isn't 'hacking' or cheating or something like the above for TPK . This is just taking adv of the game ( DeadExposureDF made a vid for the 2nd point for TS ) .
But that is the cheating done for TS and TPK .
Oh , i dont know much about the cheating gone on for TS and TPK ( like 10+ points ) but if you want - ask DeadFrontierZn2012 .

Ok i have left Xaeleth Shadow Sentinel , and switched back AGAIN to SHJ ... he now has a criss victor ( which fell from 750k to just 142k and its MC'ed too ! ) and a wakizashi . Btw the wakizashi has only 1 animation ... just moving the arm up and hitting down :)

Crowd control weps are ok in OA , but it is not necessarily needed to survive lol .

I went to FP as a lvl 6 ( Sgt Venagun ) and he lvl'ed up twice on the way , then he did mission ' big bang ' with just a m24 , along with help ( TEAMWORK !! NOT a crowd control wep ! ) and lvl'ed straight to 19 XD
However , most people just brainlessly edit my info
( which is correct , since i have been to every outpost , i have gone to every EZ ... be it SE-EZ or NE-EZ or even NEZ ( Nastyain EZ ) . And i've used every single wep category ( not special gear ) in arena ( grenades are useful ) , against boss zombies and non-boss zombies and even in OA ) .

Some of the items such as the XL gunner, marksman g8, etc haven't been released yet, so you can expect those to be released soon.

( btw for those who think im a nub with high-lvl weps .... this is what i've done
1.) Killed 3 wraiths
2.) Went to FP as a lvl 6 ( Sgt Venagun ) , lvl'ed up twice on the way .
3.) Did mission Big Bang as a lvl 8 with only M24 and went straight to lvl 19 XD
And do you know how i did it ? NOT with a crowd control wep , but with teamwork ( of course the teamwork that peeps follow when facing a powerful zed is .... 1.) Stay AFK or 2.) Make the boss follow you and run away ) -.-
4.) Went to Dogg's Stockade as a lvl 1 ( Bone Assasin )
5.) Somehow managed to reach FP without getting hit even once ( i had a zylon vest at that time )
6.) Went to Nastyain EZ ( NEZ , go all the way down from Nastya ... its a yellow-danger zone ) as a lvl 1 ( and whew , killing a bone with a pen knife as a lvl 1 takes a long time XD )
7.) Killed 3-4 flamers as a lvl 1 ( lol ... took like 10 mins XD ) This happened when i was doing Achievement #6
8.) Trolling peeps senseless :P

The animation ( or in code-speak , sprites ) for everything is quite nice ^_^
Im looking through a tutorial of Unity 3D by the TornadoeTwins ... but it requires coding knowledge ( all i know is how to use arrows keys to move a circle here and there XD And i made 2 circles move ( 1 used arrow keys and 1 used WASD keys ... i felt like a genius XD ) ) .
Except the only problem is ... i cant move the circles simultaneously :/ meaning if i move 1 circle , the other stops ... and x++ thing means once i press -> , then it'll KEEP on moving left
( the code graph of a comp is diff than the one you see on a paper , where y goes up and x goes left ( positive ) , in the computer , y graph goes down ( and its positive , not negative ) ) .
So meh , its very interesting for me though .
@ admin, can u increase the loot rate of the bio reactive, its the only thing very op right now,even the ironsight and greyhawk have gone down, but that bio isnt popping up on the market for a reasonable price

DeleteUse a decently price XT. Unless your PvPing(In which case you'll have to use expensive drugs anyways) the bio has the same absorption as the XT, which makes it quite unneeded. Not to mention it's higher service lvl requirement.

A child zombie is ok , its small and children are very fast ( except the fat ones ) . Meaning it has like 60 agility and above ?
And guys , im asking you whether you LIKE the idea or not ... and WHY .
But A says EZ is too easy then B says the BT will kill you easily then C comes up with a variation of the child zombie .
I mean i appreciate ideas , but what are your OPINIONS on my ideas ?
@Hector Martinez : The average hp of zombies in EZ is quite high , but the strongest non-boss zombie there is Leaper/Brute which has 400 hp ... and the long-arm will have like 3000 hp ( since it is stronger than a regular flamer ) .
Btw Admin : All the new weps your releasing are catering to the high-level players . Why not for lower leveled ones to ?
Like there are only THREE guns using .38 ammo , make more guns using that ammo ( like another SMG ... having 25 ammo capacity and uses .38 , like a improved version of the Gramm M11 ) .
The 16g shotguns have such a puny ammo capacity .... 2 and 4 . Make a gun with like 5 or 6 .

Btw admin , i pity the job that you have to do = see all 989 or so threads XD

ok its really weird that the 7.5 is for $16.7 per bullet and the much rarer 14mm rifle ( Hammerhead ) is just $10.7 per bullet ! Its very cheap .... 3.5k for 600 bullets !?!?

( one hit from a wraith would kill me ) and i killed her and got a mesh slx ... 19k .
Then the next block spawned one MORE wraith .... probably another mesh slx XD meaning 38k total XD
But i got hit by her ( lagged , moved slowly and she stabbed me ... 1 hit kill ) .
Thats Reason #1 why i want those new armours ( Steelcase Reactive ) and Reason #2 why i want a very powerful rifle which fires quickly to and Reason #3 why i dont like HMG's .... i burned up the ammo from 900 to just a puny 300 , just from battling a mob -.-
So i like rifles the MOST ( along with shotties ) and grenades and HMG's the least ^_^
i seriously love the Ironsight 33F ... does the most dmg per hit , per critical hit etc .

the 7.5 costs like $16.7 per bullet while the 14mm costs $10.7 per bullet ....
But it helps ... the lvl 45 armour went from nearly 2k to just $900 ... the administering of lvl 45 meds went from nearly 1800 to just $695 ( just now , now it might be more ) .
And all 100-prof weps are very cheap ... even the rex fell

ReplyDeleteAdmin, it seems you don't even update DF anymore, you hardly do anything, and aren't even there. I admit, at one point you was "supportive", but now you just let the game go to crap, after awhile DF will die, and when that happens, you'll know why. If you ever try to make another game, keep it updated, support the community, and put in more work, although it is "your" game, you treat the people who play it, like crap, and you act as if you don't care about DF.
