Great work I'd say. People will always QQ and if they won't buy GM because they have no idea how hard game development is, then thats fine. I will continue to be a GM as long as Admin keeps us updated and makes this good game even better, even if it takes a while. Coding even parts of a game takes hours a day everyday for weeks, not a couple hours and kids don't understand that. Outstanding work for one man, keep it up.

ReplyDeleteI'd like the 2D version better then the 3D version at this point. You could go inside building and do missions. That little bit really made it worth playing and worth paying. If he put in more then 2 hours a day the game would be doing great right now and all playing it would be happy.

If you haven't noticed, he has been working on the Anti-Cheat Overhaul almost non-stop. I'd like to reinforce Sgt Thompson's point and say that cheating in Dead Frontier is a much worse situation than you know it is. Stop complaining, this is the best thing he can be working on right now.

Neil has people such as myself who would support him 100% financially if needed, not do it on a case-by-case basis on account of something as stupid as missions.

I'd rather buy a map pack from Call of Duty then spend money on kill zombie, loot. I understand that it may be hard for him but if he worked hard at it, it would become easy. I know because I'm going to college to be a game designer. I'm just trying to help and a lot more people agree with me then people that don't.

ReplyDeleteI personally can't wait for buildings and missions, but I'm fine with the monotony right now. I'm not usually one to appreciate the same thing over and over again (kinda spastic) but it's there for me when I need a break from the chaos of my brain. Even if my brain does need to start working more, as I'm writing a book, and I need fresh ideas but my mind has turned to rust lately.

I do agree with Snake that the whole "Kill, loot, kill, loot" has gotten very boring and its been like that pretty much since day one, even with missions, the missions involved killing things or looking for things. Its a fun game, especially with friends. But Admin really should start adding things to do. And I'm not saying I don't care about the anti-cheat overhaul and that this is dumb, because I am very happy with Admin and support him 100%. But I would like more then just missions and interiors, and because those alone will take a while, I think what would really help tie us over, is thinking of and announcing new features that we can expect in the future. Such as places outside of the city, a day-night cycle, maybe some kind of crafting. Just letting us know DF won't always be"kill loot kill loot" like it has been is what I want.

I think the anticheat thing should take at most another week but it is just a thought. and no need on making him rush threw missions he did say he has them half way done. and i soppose when he said missions he meant missions and interiors and street names since you need all of those for missions. and barricading should come soon.

wow there was this cool glitch i was just in my messages when i clicked go to outpost and when it was loading the outpost screen that took longer than usual it showed me in white armor white exterminator mask white trench coat white pants looked familiar though i think one of the cb moderators looked like that. was it Boris? maybe flying wombat o well it is just like that male and female glitch a long time ago.

ReplyDeleteAFK killing is basically waiting for someone to walk by you while you wait in a "Start" button. Usually people leaving the arena are in critical health. So they're easy prey for them. Very unfair and cowardly.
Kill feeding is just having someone let you kill them for free PvP points to win TPK.

ReplyDeleteI have a computer about five years old, a couple of friends of mine have the same thing or a little older computers, I would REALLY appreciate it if you could somehow bring the older version of deadfrontier available to play, because I can't play with the current version because of flash player bullshit

2. The person is alive and ...sort of well XD , u have to protect him on the way home . There will be very little zeds but when there are , 4-7 run towards u . And of course a siren means unlimited aggro in that block ... go to the next and it cancels out .
3. OMG he is a ZOMBIE shit ruuuunnn XD . Nah , just kill him and loot him multiple times of course (like 1.) and since he WAS a human , he would be having ammo and guns on him (he wouldnt know how to use it anyways XD , and OF COURSE , he would be having armour . Of course for 'elites' he can use a gun and have more than 50% armours.. wait someones
